Quoting from the Haynes manual, copyrighted '74 and '78, Chapter 11 :

TR-6 Number of working coils =  5 1/4
     Rate                    =  312 lb in.
     Free length             =  10.03 in.
     Fitted length           =  8.12 +_ 3/32 in.
     Fitted load             =  925 lbs
     Hand of helix           =  right
     Static deflection       =  3 in.
     Wire diameter           =  0.5  +_ 0.002 in.
     
Many other specs listed regarding suspension & steering.  This manual 
covers TR-250, TR-5, and TR-6, more or less completely (although the
available manuals and their contents have been an occasional sore spot).
