Well, here we go again........ First, thanks to Tony Robinson for his 
generous donation of a door latch and striker plate for my Mk I 
Spit......however, the bad news is that it is the later model latch with the 
"anti-burst mechanism" and is not the same as the one I have now.  (Sorry 
Tony.  Do you want it back?)

So, I am once again looking for a donor who has a wrecked early Spitfire, or 
who knows where one is near SoCal, that has the early, non-antiburst, door 
lock and striker plate plate for the passenger door.  Anyone have a donor 
car in their backyard gathering dust?  Without one I'll have to figure out a 
way to prevent the door from opening all by itself whenever I turn left.
