TR7 engine tuning

Hello one and all
       I hope some of you can help,I received a phone call last night 
from a TR7 owner in Holland who wants information on tuning the 2.0 
litre TR7 engine,he has already fitted twin webers and a performance 
exhaust but wants to know what he can do to the engine itself.I am 
more into Spitfires and Heralds so I thought the list could be of 
some help to him any books on the subject or peoples own experiences 
would be most helpful.
