Since we've been on this topic quite a bit lately, I'd like to mention
that there's a delightful little book called _Smoke_, by Ib Spang Olsen.
It was originally published in Denmark in 1970 but was translated by
Virginia Allen Jensen and published in 1972 by Coward, McCann &
Geoghegan. It's all about a family going out on a picnic and finding
factories, a furnace, and their car putting out smoke. So they go about
eliminating the smoke. It may be a nice way to show kids about the
dangers of pollution.
