so that little black wire is supposed to be connected to something? :)
thanks for all the input on my questions. the headlights weren't working
because of an unconnected ground wire, and the wiper/brake light/etc
circuit was off because of a bad connection at the fuse.
i'm still not sure why the illumination bulb for the ammeter was always
on, but that's not happening anymore, probably a grounding problem, eh?
anyway, now that it's got functioning brake lights and turn indicators i can
drive it around, which is exactly what i did this morning. what fun!
