TR6 pre-purchase inspection

Dear List,

I am searching for my first TR6,  what would be the most important items of
inspection to avoid purchasing a problem car.  I know enough to avoid rust,
however, what else should be high on the priority list.

I have enjoyed reading your comments on the digest, and hope to be able to
ask some questions and ask for assistance should I find a TR6.
