I was interested in your note about a Heavy Duty Herald Swingspring. I am
restoring a '64 Sports 6 (Vitesse) and want to improve the rear while I
rebuild it. I have a friend with a Spit swingspring in a Herald 1300
which works VERY well even for autocross but the ride height is much
lower than I want. The stock spring leaves my car with some + camber. I
would like a bit of - camber and a swingspring sounds like a good
addition also.
Please provide more info about the spring from Kipping. What is the cost?
What is the ride height/camber with it in place? How does your car
handle? Thanks in advance.
