Hi Everyone,

Just got off the phone with TRF and it sounds like the seal gets
installed something like this:

                                        |
                             __________ |
                            |   ------ ||
 <-- Left side of car       || | seal |||
                            || |      ||| <--- Inside lip of tire compartment
                            || / _____|--
                            ||/ /
 Rear of car body     ______||\/
                             +-------------- Rear of spare tire compartment lid
                             ^
                             |__ Lip on compartment lid

It may not be obvious but this is looking from above the car at a cross
section of the trough on the left side of the car.

Fred: Is this more like what you had in mind?
