You love the look of the little Spitfire but want some more GRUNT?!?

You're all too sane my freind!

Anyway, many others have had this feeling and if you look around on the 
internet you'll 
find everything from an Offy 255 to a TR6 to a Ford V6 to a Chevy 350 has found 
a home 
under a Spit bonnet...

One thing I thought of... there's a guy with a genuine Cosworth Vega engine for 
sale @ 
http://www.TotalAdvance.com/cos16.htm ... the big book of engine weights lists 
this as 
285 lbs. or about 30-50 lbs lighter than the stock Spit engine. Shoud be good 
for 
140-160hp.....
