The owner's manual that came with my 1970 TR6 (I have it since new) is in
fact based on the '69 model. It does show the 69 dash, steering wheel and
ignition switch. An under hood detail picture shows the striped water
hoses. It lists the manual as Part No. 545074, 1st edition, 4th printing

Looks like you got the correct manual for that period. I never noticed that
it was wrong until today - 27 1/2 years later. You learn something new
every day.
