The black and green go to the one speaker. Red is to 12V usually thru and in
line fuse (you can buy at Radio Shack) to protect it from frying if
something goes wrong. Connect it to the White wire circuit if you want it to
switch it on/off with the ignition switch or the Brown wire circuit if you
want it "hot" all the time (just don't forget to turn it off or you will
drain you battery). Ground for the radio was picked up thru the metal to
metal mounting. You can add an extra ground wire to the metal chassis if you
want. Some units have a stud for such a connection or else you can put the
ground lead under on of the screws that hold the cover on.
