What I've heard is that a lot of what's on the market today, is piston
liner sets from the Ferguson tractor. Although they shared the same
liner and piston size, apparently there are 3 and 4 ring varieties
available.  I think it's the 4 ring type that's from the tractor. 
Check with Ken Gilanders at British Frame and Engine, he knows for
sure. He also sells new liners made in the USA.  My experience with
them (1 set) is that they are about 3 thou too tall.  I found that the
Victoria British figure * gaskets are about 3 thou too thin, a perfect
match!
