FWIW my '70 GT6+ has the 8 blade plastic fan...
the purported GT6 Mk1 engine (the one looking for a home) under my
bench has an all metal fan - blades seem to be aluminum rivetted to a
steel (?) hub. Not sure if 6 or 8 blades (it's at home)
