I'm considering installing an electric fuel pump on my street TR6. It is
more difficult to start when it is hot. I'm told that heat soak is the
common cause for this and the common remedy is an electric pump.
I'd like to hear some real life experiences from my fellow TR6 owners --
1) Does an electric pump eliminate this problem?
Funny thing. Just last night I stayed up to read Chris Kantarjiev's
(Dimebank Garage) account of finding and buying a Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 at

I came away with the impression that it has both mechanical and electric
fuel pumps and that you flick a switch in the cockpit to turn on the
electric pump when you start experiencing vapor lock.
I'm sure I probably have some detail wrong. It's a good read even if you're
not interested in electric fuel pumps or Ferraris...
