I brought home my Spitfire tonight with its new engine. We went with a mild
street cam (which turned out to be not so mild), 40 over - high compression
pistons, header, and Weber DCOE. It is really fast. While I didn't push it,
it reached cruising speed quite quickly. The smile that affixed itself to
my face when I bought it 2 years ago has returned & won't be leaving any
time soon. Now I have to find a way to tell my mistress that she has
competition :)
