Hi all,
this is an odd one. i've just replaced the radiator on my 1973 GT6, it's
been totally filled up with 'For-Life' (the super-duper coolant) and have
replaced many of the surrounding water hoses. However, whilst driving only
a short distance (after 5 minutes) the temp gauge is already well-over a
comfortable half-way mark between hot&cold. this is strange, coz the
radiator i had before was completely chock full of dirt etc therefore
circulation can't have been good, but even with that the temp never rose
that quick. anyways, the strange part is, when i stopped at a roundabout,
the temperature started going down !!! yep, back down to about half-way
(which is where i'd expect it). This is v odd. just wondering if anyone
has experienced anything similar - or perhaps what i can do to stop the
sudden rise in temp ?

hope you can help
thanks in advance
neil
