I'll ask this and then move on. I am trying to replace the trans in my 69 TR6
with a "runner" so I can enjoy the car as I (learn to) rebuild my original.
Question- will any TR6 trans fit? I thought there was a difference in the
length of the pilot shaft from mmid-70 on. But in a conversation with Moss,
it sounds like the differences are INTERNAL, and the external measurements
are the smae through the model run.
Does anyone know for sure?
