Skip,
Fred Thomas is going to tell you it's the best piece of test equipment you
can get. I haven't used mine enough to learn how to use it effectively but
my preliminary usage would indicate it is very good. You will need to make
sure the carbs are balanced first but you'll be able to lean them out enough
to pass and then put them back where your car runs the best afterwards if
you want.
Andy

Subject: Gunson gastester

Hello all,
I'm thinking about getting a Gunson gastester (the basic model), and
would like to know if anyone can attest to it's accuracy. I'm tired
of the tweak-and-pray routine and the multiple trips to the State's
tailpipe sniffer. Can I tune with one of these things and then be
confident to pass? I never have a problem with the HC readings, just
the CO which is tested at idle only.
Thanks for any info.
