Well I rebuilt the carbs on my 71 TR6 and reinstalled them, same problem as
before. The carbs are flooding the engine with gas.

Ken, I'll jump in with my .02 worth....when I rebuilt my Strombergs, I tried to
get the Grosse Jets to work, but couldn't keep them from flooding, had to go
back to needle jets. So, I had them left over and when I rebuilt my Spitfire's
single stromberg, just for grins I tried to use one of the left over grosse
jets. This time it worked like a charm. Don't have an reason why, because I
use the same after market elec fuel pump, with identical 2-3 lbs pressure, on
both cars.
