    I think I can help you on this one... The TR3a in question (I
    believe) once belonged to Joe Marchetti or someone connected to
    him (possibly his son).

    Marchetti used to be the primary organizer for the Chicago
    Historic Races. For many reasons Joe's involvement in the CHR
    was eclipsed and the event was taken over by Merrill Lynch
    (others on this list may be able to provide you with a blow-by-
    blow on the actual historics of this change. At any rate the event
    is currently known as the Brian Redmann International Challenge
    or "The Bric". This was a quite a few years ago.

    The car in question was purchased and subsequently raced by Carey
    Perket who lived in the midwest until a couple of years ago when
    he moved out west. I believe he was trying to sell the car
    earlier this year.
