Jim,
I have some TR4A engine and gearbox parts in my TR4 so I have
both parts catalogs. Based on the pictures I think the answer is
no.

I think the symptoms you describe are just the particular bad fit
of that carpet set. Fix it the best you can or spring for one of
TRF good fitting sets.
You could get some black carpet remnant that comes close and
re-cut it long enough using the short piece as a template. Or
even better use the remnant to replace the piece under the seat
long enough so the front carpet over laps an inch.
