Is there any interest in a listing of folks who have LBC's (for example to
see if there is someone in your area who has one that you didn't know was in
your area, or to see how many others have the same model as you?)
Listing includes: (if known)
car number
model (TR2, TR3, TR4, Spitfire, etc. etc.)
Geographic location (city, state/province/ country)
Owner name
e-mail
has about 150 - 160 so far, at least one of practically every model, some
models have 30 - 40 listed
This is a "no financial interest whatsoever" deal and should be only for
personal use (no business use).
There already may be such list(s) out there at VTR or this message board
or...??. If there is interest indicated to this board, I will provide more
info about it -- it's in MS Excel 2000 format and a copy could be e-mailed
to interested persons.
Another approach might be to periodically post a particular model listing of
car numbers/owners to this board. Readers could then check the list to
add/delete/correct info.
The idea is to begin a comprehensive "this is the data on all cars that are
still out there" type of listing. It might be helpful to
historians/restorers.
