Hi Steve,

Congratulations on your choice of vehicle. The big 3 are; Moss Motors, The
Roadster Factory and, Victoria British.
The URLS are Moss- http://www.mossmotors.com/
Roadster Factory http://www.the-roadster-factory.com/
Vicky British http://www.longmotor.com/

There are operations that resell Moss parts at a substantial discount from
Moss itself. TRF and Vicky do not sell their parts under a distributor
arrangement. I have not dealt with Vicky British and cannot comment on
their parts or prices. I have spent a lot of money with TRF in the past
because they have committed a lot of resources to manufacturing parts so
that we can keep these cars on the road. I have also spent a lot of money
with a Moss distributor lately and have been very happy.
By all means, go to their websites and order their catalogs. TRF has done
the best job with their catalogs with blow-up pictures, detailed
descriptions and downloadable price lists.
Moss has been mildly criticized on this list as being an MG and Miata
distributor that also sells TR parts, but I haven't found that to be a
detriment. Vicky British is a unit of Long Motor, which makes most of it's
money selling body panels for trucks.
Hey, when you're selling parts for obsolete cars, you need some way to make
money.
If you need any specific help, please feel free to ask the list. Most of us
are here to help.

[This message delayed, as it needed manual intervention by the list
administrator.

You know, this might not take so long if I didn't read some of these manual
intervention messages. Being way behind, a number of these issues may have
been already discussed and I'm just rehashing old news. First off, the
intro message which each subscriber to the triumphs and triumphs-digest
lists should have gotten mentions this reference:

   http://www.dimebank.com/monster/vendors.html

Make use of this resource, either just to look for vendors or to provide
current feedback on those listed there.

Secondly, Vicky Brit and TRF do sell to other distributors. Like the Fat
Chance Garage in Salt Lake City, for instance. If I wasn't working on getting
through list admin mail, I might be putting some effort into promoting my
parts business. But there are issues about commercial uses of these lists,
maybe someday soon I'll be discussing that.
