Susan,

I would not use any glue at all if you can help it.  I used 2
sided carpet tape and Velcro strips to keep things from sliding.
You need to be able to remove the carpet easily for service to
the gearbox of for drying out if you get a rain leak.  The felt
backing should be glued to the carpet not the floor.

I did glue down the small piece that covers the semi circle dome
in the back shelf... and the carpet pieces that go over the sills
and the strange piece that goes on the firewall over the gearbox
tunnel.  But no glue on the floor pieces.
