Subject: Recent appeal for information on VTR 2001...

Organization: Barely enough
... and how to best, virtually, to get John Macartney to join us. Thanks
to all who replied with help and suggestions. I've put the replies in a
separate email file and will probably be picking a brain or two or three
over the next few weeks.

And, especially rewarding were those comments from many who thought this
was a damned good thing to try to do. Those who have read John's book or
corresponded with him through the web or had the pleasure to visit him
in person know he's a fount of information, and is both a helpful fellow
and a person of generous spirit to all enthusiasts of the
Standard/Triumph persuasion.

I hope, for John's sake, and all of ours, that we can work something out
by August which will allow John to participate in our upcoming event, in
any way possible.

Thanks, all, and cheers.
