Yes, the Lucas distributor used on the TR2-4 makes it easy to swap vacuum
modules.  You'll need to remove the cap, and pry the advance spring up off
of the post it slips over.  Some units have a circlip on the outside, on the
very end of the adjustment shaft, which will also have to be removed.  Then
just unscrew the vernier adjustment nut, until the shaft slips out of it.
The nut will leap off, be sure to catch it and the spring behind it.  Then
the module just slides out.  Reverse the process to reassemble, don't forget
to finish by sliding the spring back over the post.

Note that the post (and the point plate it is part of) should move fairly
easily.  If not, you may want to remove the point plate to clean and
lubricate it.  While it's out, inspect the centrifugal advance weights,
springs, etc.
