I just completed reading Mike Cook's book on the history of Triumph Cars in
America and I have to say it is a must read for anyone who has enjoyed these
cars for many years or just recently became interested. It was very
informative and interesting to reflect back over the different management
styles of leadership in the UK and how it either propelled the sales or
stymied the sales of product in the USA.
I for one, am glad that Mike's children told him to "write it down Dad" when
he told his stories to them. We wouldn't have it today if he didn't listen
to them.
I'd like to write to Mike directly and have seen his posts to the list on
occasion but I don't currently have his e-mail address. I would appreciate
