Most 60s period ads and car brochures showed cars with whitewall tyres, even
if whitewall tyres weren't available as an option. They just look cool.
No peformance advanatage AFAIK, but if red cars go faster then maybe
whitewalls do the same ;-)
Seriously, they are just cosmetic, they look ultra-cool IMHO and my TR4's
next set of tyres will be whitewalls. Anyone know of a brand/size of
whitewalls that fit the standard TR4 steel wheels?
