Stripped the dash and removed the old glove box, heater box (30 year old
hoses!)and wiring harness . What a horrorshow! I was skating on real thin
ice and a truly frightening quantity of burnt wiring (had forgotten just how
many patches around shorts I had made over the years). The new harness is a
thing of beauty, the old, an electricians nightmare.
I am in need of the little plastic BRAKE warning insert for the dash anyone
out there have one you would sell?
Seems to me that there was once a metal brace and maybe even a cover plate
under the glove box. Not there now. AM I correct in this and are any of you
holding such items that you will part with?
