Thanks for all the replies.
As soon as I get my act together I'm going to replace the cylinder electrical
thinggy (can't remember what it's called) with the two wires. also a third
connection to the cap which is connected to the spark plugs. Will disconnect
the battery first. Will update the list on my progress.
Promise not to electrocute myself.
