Original Paint

Just finishing up a frame up on a 76 TR6.
I cannot seem to find out if the headlight buket was painted same color as the
car or left black.
I have seen cars with just the rim painted and I've seen cars with the rim and
everything else left black.
Does anyone have the correct color.
