There have been comments on this list before about insulating the
transmission cover. Mine is out of the car at the moment, and I
would like to take advantage of the opportunity, but I cannot
remember what was suggested. What insulating material, inside or
outside the cover, what adhesive, what results, and of course traps
for the inexperienced and unwary?
