How do you go about removing the wooden cowling/dash support strip on a TR3?
I am preparing to have my TR3 body tub dipped, and need to remove this
support piece. The ends are trapped by sheet metal pockets, so it won't
come out in one assembly. The end pieces appear to be screwed onto the
center piece, but the screws are not accessible without bending the
metal lip on the cowling. A hand saw is tempting, but I know better :-) .
Any suggestions?
