Two quick questions re: brake master cylinder rebuilding for the experts
here:
1) What is the correct original color for the cylinder itself? (I assume
it's not the lovely rust-brown that I now have!)
2) Anyone found an easy (realizing that it's a relative term) to get the new
rubber O-ring onto the main piston? I've tried soaking in boiling water with
no luck. Have been reluctant to try soaping the rubber. Maybe brake fluid?
