console connections

Hi,
Now that I've taken the dash and console loose, is there anything especially
helpful to do before reassembling the gauges back on to the console?  Can I do
something to all the electrical connections- like a drop of hot solder on them
to 'resolidify' their connections?  Of course, I've never taken their wires
off in the first place- nor do I intend on doing so!
