Ah yes Fred, but the difference was the Japanese stuff worked. Ran 
better smoother longer and dryer. My Yamaha 650 would blow the socks 
off a BSA or Triumph, and it didn't leak oil.
As for the 510, I seem to remember it owing more to BMW design than TR 
or MG, other than those carb clones.
