Sorta the same story with me.
I will admit I was dumping the clutch at a stoplight and had some good sized
tires on there . . . pinion teeth making nice ca-chunk ca-chunk ca-chunk sounds
as I pull over and call and a tow truck.
Replaced it with a 3.45:1 diff which I used for a year or so (incluing trip to
Colorado convention) Not being smart enough to leave well enough alone, I then
decided to put in a stock 3.7:1 back in. . . . which is now whining and feels
like it has way too much play in it. I won't be autocrossing it with that diff
. . that's for sure.
