According to my TR4 Workshop manual it is a 16mm x 2mm pitch thread. Size
the drill accordingly, 14mm I think is the right one for a 16mm tap. I have
one of those taps around somewhere that I'll use for a back up light switch
when I overhaul the transmission over the winter.
