I don't know if the TR6 was ever fitted with the OD switch in the shift
knob; but I know the Stag and Spitfire were.  Those shift levers were hollow
for the wires, and had a different thread for the knob than the 'regular'
shift levers.  Later TR2 and all TR3/A/B also had a hollow shift lever with
different threads, although AFAIK the factory never put the OD switch in the
knob on those cars.  Unfortunately, it's not the same thread as the
Spit/Stag, so their knobs won't fit.
