Thanks Andy, that pretty much confirms my '61 is a '59.  I seem to recall
from a previous thread where people were listing their serial numbers and
date of manufacture, that TS57201 happened somewhere around August 1959.
But I suppose it could have been later and if it was originally titled in
Jan 1961, it may have been "on the lot" for as little as 13 months and if
you subtract transit time from the factory, perhaps even less than a year.

Back then when new model years came out in the fall, I guess they still do,
there was some differences between the new and old models, may have been a
peice of chrome, but there was something that distinguished them.  Since
sheet metal changes on the TR3A took place at TS6000, which must have been
in late 1959, those would probably be considered an "early 1960" model and
mine would be a "late 1959" model :-).

Ok, .... now MY eyes are starting to glaze over.......;-)
