start over with. Probably one of the reasons Lucas had such a bad name back
in the '60's. Wire an aftermarket switch under the dash and run a loud
exhaust. Works for me....

Nonsense! Just because the 40 year old plastic starts to break up on
occasion is no reason to forego the convenience of a steering wheel mounted
horn push. Don't cobble a DPO horn button that is hard to reach, ruins the
whole look of the car and leaves unwanted holes in your dash, buy a new
bush assembly (the whole thing) and get on with your life.
