Why ?

Your mileage may vary of course.  I put a Jim Donato aluminum flywheel on my
daily driver not too long ago, and it's definitely a bit harder to launch.
Not objectionably so, but it's definitely easier to kill the engine now
(still happens to me occasionally even after driving it every day for many
months ... but maybe I'm just stupid<g>).

Most likely that was Jim Donato in Logansport, IN.  He runs a Jeep
dealership there.

Don't recall for sure what I paid Jim, but I think it was around $300.  May
be more now, if he even has any more.
