Today I finally got to re-install the battery and begin testing the 40-50
hours I've spent on Dan's Wiring Harness. Considering that there's over 800
feet of wire in a TR6 and too many connections to count I'm pretty pleased
that there were no sparks flying, smoke curling to the ceiling or the need
to call 911. :-) Actually the only problems I had were: brake and reverse
light wires were swapped (easily fixed), Driver door 2 terminal switch is
broken and went to ground every time the door was opened blowing a fuse
(only took me 3 fuses to figure that out), a couple of dash lights don't
work (could be bad bulbs), the oil and brake warning lights stay on after
the car is started (Dan... help!) and the electric fan isn't working (need
to check the wiring to the DTSP switch). The only moment of panic I had was
after letting the car idle for about 10 minutes I shut it down, restarted it
and saw smoke coming from the front of the car. Turned out it was steam from
the coolant overflow connection. I forgot to top off the radiator from the
coolant loss when I disconnected all the heater hoses.

My first impressions are: the starter sounds different/stronger, all the
lights are brighter, the horn is louder and the heater fan runs stronger.
Once I sort out the few problems I can begin to "tidy up" under the dash and
get the demisters and eyeball vents and hoses back in. I'm a little
concerned about this as the harness wires are a much heavier gauge and
therefore take up a lot more room under the dash.

If nothing else I've learned a lot bout how a TR6 is wired :-)
