I use a 1994 Volkswagen Passat Estate for the business, I do most of the
maintenance myself. Having recently changed rear discs and bearings, a CV
joint and now the clutch (an ongoing saga), I can't understand how anyone
can consider cap head bolts to be more user friendly than the hex bolts as
used on Triumphs. They have been nothing but trouble, something acknowledged
by the local independent VW specialist - nice to know it's not just me!
Cheers,
Bill.
