FWIW, there's also a local club member with an aluminum headed 302 (5.0 Cobra)
in his TR4. He claims it's actually lighter than the stock TRactor motor. I
can believe that, as the Ford cylinder block weighs nothing compared to a TR
block, and TR heads are certainly hefty. His stated performance goal is 0-100-0
in 10 seconds. Last I heard, he was down to about 12, and working on the brakes
...
