Hmmm, let's see, the people who make the calipers say this is a bad idea. They
no doubt had a professional brake engineer say that. No other professional
brake engineer has said it's a good idea. Moss & TRF, who are in the business
of selling whatever parts they find a market for, sell the parts to do it. But
they don't have any brake engineers on their staff; and they are not legally
responsible if your brakes fail.
Millions of people smoke, too, and obviously they all haven't died from it yet
... many if not most never will. Still doesn't mean it's a good idea, or that
I'm going to take it up soon.
Bottom line is, as always, gather all the facts you can find and make your own
decision. Mine is *plonk*.
