Real or not, the winner of the first auction in March is now the seller for
the second auction in May...and made $250 (20%) on the deal. Considering
what the Stock Market did in that same time period, it might be time to
reconsider my future investment direction. ;-)

There is something fishy about these two auctions:

Looks to me like a set of Empi's (or Empi copies, typically about $90 each
new) that have had their bolt pattern changed from 130mm (VW) to 4.5" (TR).
I hope I'm wrong, but my Silverstones certainly don't look like that. The
cutouts around the holes are totally different. Also, true Silverstones
should not have "safety beads".

Maybe speed6 or 68tr is on the list and could comment?

Hi Nick
Yes I have to agree with you here--these really dont look right to me.
Where is the offset on the claws beak to facilitate the wheel nuts (lug
nuts).
Also the markings on the back just dont add up to anything I have seen
before and I have had three sets of these over a period of time.
Like you I "smell a rat" here and I am about to contact Mike Kutka to see
if he is aware of our feelings.
I will let you know when I get results.
