Thanks, Joe!

I saw your second response with the 'Rule of 13' (and Dave Massey's too!) So
as usual, the List Rocks!!

Jim,
The rule of 9 only applies to conventional 4 cylinder engines. I am
sure there is a rule for 6 cylinder engines as well but I don't know
what it is. I will do some checking in my books and see if I can come
up with something.

Subject: Follow-up question

A few weeks ago there was a discussion regarding adjusting valves. Some
one
mentioned the "9 Rule". I won't go into that, for my question is
regarding
the Triumph 6 cylinder engine.

Does 6 cylinder engine follow the "9 Rule" or is it just applicable to
the 4
cylinder engines??

If anyone knows for sure please let me know!

TIA,

Jim Bauder
