Thanks to everyone's suggestions I got rid of my "miss" and the car's been
running great until today. On the way to the golf course, it started to miss
again...ever so slightly. On the way back, it started to buck like bronco
and backfire. The hotter it got, the worse it got. I limped home and had a
beer. So now I'm not sure if my Lucas Sports coil is going bad and am
wondering how best to test it. With the car running, I get a solid 12.5 volt
reading on my multi-meter on the + side of the coil. On the negative side of
the coil, and at the distributor, it reads between 7 & 8 volts and the
reading sometimes "jumps to" 11 or 12 volts. With the key in the On
position, but the car NOT running, I get the same 12.5 on the + side and
less then 1 (actually 0.25) on the negative side. Any suggestions would be
welcome.

Thanks
