No, leave it as is -

There is no problem using just an electric fan (I have only an electric on
my V6 spit with aluminum radiator and almost all newer cars run only
electrics, albeit they run at a slightly higher temp), but it MUST flow
enough air, and that's the real key whether it pushes or pulls air. Even
though pulling air is slightly more efficient, either will work fine but
the key is airflow, the more the better- if you find overheating at idle
and or low speeds, get a more powerful fan or shroud the electric to cover
the entire radiator. After about 30 mph the fan isn't really required. The
pros, a few more horses (only when the when the electric is not on) and a
little less stress on the water pump from not driving the fan with the
engine. Cons, a little more amp draw when the electric is on and the
slightly more complex wiring and brackets required to install one (try not
to mount the fan directly to the aluminum radiator core - the vibration
could eventually weaken the bond between the core and the tanks since
aluminum work hardens easier than copper/brass and is generally not the
best way to mount a fan and might eventually cause a leak. Think about it,
if it wasn't really any problem mounting them this way, wouldn't auto
manufacturers mount 'em that way? it's certainly cheaper and easier than
making a bracket mount...)- that's about all I can think of -
